About the process
1) With a digital camera, take overlap images like:

2) Then, with a program like Photovista select a lens (depending of your camera), stitch and blend the images (automatic process).
3) Finally, with the Helmut Dersh's java pakage put your pano to work in the web. Download an example from www.genmm.com/download/panoramicas.zip. Depending of the type of the environment you can choose from the flat (Panorama.class) or distortion (ptviewer.jar) way to look.
